the people's army at beerland wednesday night
kevin of photon ghoul will be performing with g.g. elliott and the people's army featuring lady orifice at beerland this wednesday the 26th. here's a repost of a bulletin from g.g. elliott:
"This Wednesday our newest musickal side project, G.G. Elliott and The People's Army featuring Lady Orifice, will be playing at Beerland at 10:00pm. This is a 'Worst Bands in Austin' show where they put up a chicken wire fence in front of the stage, and you are supposed to throw stuff at the bands, an appropos first show as this project is all about audience instigation. So come throw stuff at us, whether you like it or not. Expect a Throbbing Gristle style revival (and even a cover song, how many noise projects do that?), and military psy-ops sound barrage, vocals, and performance . Comanche Abortion, The Bad Motivators, and Naught For 3 are also playing. I know the latter two pretty well, and they both kick ass. The Bad Motivators are some of the most fun high energy punk you'll ever see, and Naught for 3 is some of the most not fun, but oh so good because of it, harsh noise you'll ever see. So what are you waiting for? Go out and buy some produce, and be sure to come join the fun Wednesday night."
